It's all about exposure!

Today it takes a lot for a band to get noticed. With the information age upon us the music industry is finding itself lost. However, the musicians themselves are finding new ways to succeed in the absence of the bumbling music industry. How are they doing this? They are using new mediums to distribute their music. The internet has opened up opportunities to deliver their goods without the high cost of compact discs. So, with the cost to distribute music down (not free, practice time, studio fees, remastering, etc.) why do most musicians give their music away? This is no way to succeed at anything! These musicians poor their heart and soul into these tunes, shouldn't they be compensated for writing good stuff? I think when artist give their music away it devalues their art. It's not selling out when you’re feeding yourself (or buying yourself a Ferrari). It's doing what you’re good at and providing for yourself independently. Giving music away is counter-productive to this end. I urge all of the musicians in the world to earn for the music they slave over. Upload all known content to www.Plugo.la and sell it to someone who appreciates it, so they can sell it to someone, and they can sell it to someone, and they can sell it to someone, and they can sell it to someone, and they can sell it to someone. That’s how it works!

About Me
Favorite Music Moments
I am one of the founders of this website. Erik and I have been working on this concept for some time and we're finally glad to be able to bring this service to the public. We have high hopes for this site and hope that all indie bands and their fans find it very simple to use as well as very profitable. Plugola Was just an idea until I met Erik. His initiative got the ball rolling on my original idea, which didn't even have a name. We've worked hard to bring the indie scene a service that can enable bands to operate as a business by providing a marketplace for their music. We hope to see many creative ways to spread the popularity of the indie scene. Good Luck and Enjoy!
