Lethal Halo is a five piece melodic metal ensemble founded in Vancouver, BC in 2008.
With members hailing from Turkey, England, Ireland, and Canada who have collectively traveled to over 25 countries, Lethal Halo's brutally heavy edge has a 'melody and harmony centric' core derived from diverse cultural and musical backgrounds. This amalgamation of disparate musical styles, scales, and techniques combined with their unique instrumentation (two 7-string guitars and a 5-string bass, all tuned down a full step) gives Lethal Halo an unprecedented range of tone, bone shaking bottom end, and a foreboding harmonic darkness as yet unparalleled in the realm of Melodic Metal.
Lethal Halo's technically analytical approach to musical composition is complimented by thought provoking lyrical content, painting a vividly insightful and unabashed view of the world. Duke's seamless transitions between head-crushing metal growls and dynamically hair-raising 'clean' vocal styling lends credence to the sincerity and conviction with which he performs every song.
In contrast to the traditional “dueling axes” approach, Lethal Halo's twin-lead guitarists work together to create intricate, thoughtful harmonies and textured melody lines that favour emotion.
