Chris Birkett album bio
"Freedom"
Chris started his recording career in the 1970's with producer Tony Visconti (David Bowie, Moody blues, Marc Bolan, Thin lizzy etc).
He worked for many years with international artists and became a double award winning record producer/arranger and composer. (see production bio)
From time to time he would create his own solo albums to reflect the vast experience he had absorbed from his work with world renowned artists.
The single from his last album "Where do we go from here" was released on the compilation "One voice one love" (Polygram records).
This compilation also featured U2, Peter Gabriel, Queen, Dire straits.
This new album by Chris titled "Freedom" is a culmination of many years of experience in working with these profound and successful artists, some of who appear as guests on this record.
"Freedom" is a message "strait from the heart" and reflects Chris' deep insight into the real meaning of love.
