Barbrah Kelley is a singer, songwriter, lyricist and arranger. She collaborates with her husband who write, play and produced her CD. Over the years she has worked as a studio singer; recording commercials, voice-overs and demos for other artist and toured with various bands and groups. Barbrah decided it was time for her to come to the forefront to showcase herself. Her style of Gospel music is soothing for any listener - once the song is over you'll want to listen again and again. "Even though I'm a music lover" she said, "as a writer I tend to stay away from the radio- I don't want my music to be influenced by what's already playing". Barbrah's style of music isn't geared for a particular age or group, and crosses into Smooth Jazz, Urban/R&B,Contemporary/Inspirational Genres without losing its message- for which she says is intended- 'to inspire and encourage', it is the good news of the Gospel. "I believe my style of music will spark a new Genre of music called 'Smooth Worship'-which is the title of my CD".

Promoting & Promoting


As an Independent Unsigned Artist taking on the task of promoting my own CD is a bit taxing. I really wasn't expecting to tackle it at the angle that I have, but it's a little to late for that! I started signing onto different Networking sites and before I knew it--I was already knee deep in at least 15 sites and pushing forward...and that was a couple of weeks ago. Including Twitter! It's safe to say--it has become addictive. Each networking site try to appear different with their titles, groups, page layout options, and what makes them stand out from the rest. The best part is - is that I've come in contact with people that I wouldn't have ordinarily have met; people with diverse backgrounds, diverse beliefs and from every part of the globe! That alone is worth it! As far as getting all those contacts to support me --now that's a different story! But the experience is priceless!
