that allows independant musicians to connect with music fans,
while maintaining full control of their music and online presence.
It's the fans who decide which artists belong on top with the
opportunity to become completely interactive and "plug"
their favorite artists.
Q: How Much Does PLUGOLA Cost??
A: PLUGOLA is totally FREE to sign-up
and use, however; PLUGOLA takes a very small percentage of each
download that is purchased. There are NO subscription fees, NO
service fees, NO credits to purchase and absolutely NO hidden
fees to you, or to any of our members.
Q: What makes PLUGOLA stand-out above similar
services?
A: For starters, PLUGOLA is 100% community driven.
Every artist will have many opportunities for their original content
to be exposed to a targeted audience. This also means that fans
of your music and other artists can help you promote as both they
and you see fit. PLUGOLA also keeps the music fans and consumers
in mind, making it as easy as possible to purchase and download
all available media at a minimal cost. We have many more tools
to help spread music in development that will become avaialable
soon, as well.
Q: Why Are Some Prices Different Then Others?
A: PLUGOLA artists are in full control of their
music and other content. They are given the freedom to set their
own prices.
Q: Why must I provide my personal info such
as my address and credit card number?
A: Information that we gather during the online
sign up process is used to verify personal identity. Your credit
card information will be saved in your profile and on our SECURE
SERVERS to allow you to purchase music from the PLUGOLA
Player. Your bank or PayPal account information is needed for
the deposit of your earnings. PLUGOLA SHALL NOT DISCLOSE THIS
INFORMATION FOR ANY REASON, WHATSOEVER!
Q: Is My Credit Card Info Safe?
A: Absolutely! Your info is captured and stored
on our secure servers and is only accessed by Authorize.net
to process any of your purchases. Even the Administration here
has no access to your credit card information. PLUGOLA SHALL NOT
DISCLOSE THIS INFORMATION FOR ANY REASON, WHATSOEVER!
Q: Who Processes My Credit Card and Who Am
I Billed By?
A: You will be billed by PLUGOLA, INC.
Our merchant bank is Chase
Paymentech and all transactions are processed thru Authorize.net.
Q: Is my bank account information safe with
PLUGOLA?
A: Yes. We only use your bank account information
to electronically transfer money owed to you or money due to us.
We will notify you when such a transfer occurs. We use industry
standard security practices, with all information stored on our
secure servers and never share that information with third parties,
unless required by law..

Q: What is the PLUGOLA Player?
A: Through this player you can sell/buy music
and videos using our one-click process. Your information will
be saved upon sign-up to provide easier access to the music you
love. Your PLUGOLA Player is a simple HTML copy & paste code that
allows you to sell your content all over the Internet (artist
page, your PLUGOLA community, your own website, other community
sites, blogs, etc.)
Q: Where do I manage my PLUGOLA Player?
A: Upon login you will be able to access the
'UPLOAD" and 'ACCOUNT' pages where you can upload audio and video,
set prices, monitor transactions, and view stats.
Q: Does PLUGOLA use DRM on content?
A: PLUGOLA offers no DRM, or other restrictions
on any media located within the website.
Q: How does PLUGOLA differ from other aggregators
and distributors?
A: Our community capabilities are what set us
apart. PLUGOLA allows the entire network to get involved in the
promotions and sales of your music. Our Unique Plugging feature
allows your fans to Plug (sell) your music on their PLUGOLA Player.
This will place your music on many different pages offering your
music a wider audience.
Q: Do copyright holders maintain full control
of content within the PLUGOLA registry?
A: Yes. PLUGOLA doesn't own the content in its
registry. PLUGOLA merely provides tools for content owners to
manage their catalogs.
Q: Who handles accounting and royalty distribution?
A: PLUGOLA handles the back end and collects
money from affiliates who PLUG your content. PLUGOLA provides
you with the ability to track your sales online, and pays you
when the content is sold.
Q: Beyond music, does your model work with
other types of media?
A: YES! The PLUGOLA Player has video capabilities
to offer more creative outlets for the promotion of your music.

technology to connect musicians to their fans.
Q: I live outside the USA, can I still sign-up
for a PLUGOLA account?
A: Absolutely. However, we currently can only
accept payment and pay in U.S. Dollars. If that does not work
for you, please bookmark us and come back later. We are working
on ways to accept and pay in other international funds.
